HINC4 took place August 13 to 15, 2014 at the IT University in Copenhagen.

The HiNC4 conference was organized with the following sub-themes:

  • Solutions and Systems for Public Services.
    From tax to social benefits, from education to health care, from police info systems to network centric operations, from democracy and inclusion to culture.
  • Solutions and Systems for the Infrastructure of the society.
    From railroads to energy, from telephone to wireless, from banking and insurance to supply chain management.
  • Innovation and systems technologies behind the major milestones.

Invited key note speakers positioned ‘The Nordic Way’ in a global and a European context. Contributions included discussions on goals obtained and lessons learned.

The Speaker of the Danish Parliament, Mr. Mogens Lykketoft Member of Parliament (soc.dem) has kindly accepted our invitation as a keynote speaker for the conference, August 13.

Mr. Lykketoft is a former minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Finance and as such he has a deep knowledge of the role  played by ICT in supporting the Danish Welfare State.

Mr. Adam Mollerup is one the OECD experts that have reviewed the IT progress in the Nordic Countries in more than a decade.

The conference features contributions from researchers and IT professionals from the Nordic countries and beyond. All contributions will undergo review by a Nordic program committee. There was also be project presentations and panel discussions according to this timetable :
